Rooted in nature. Grown in connection.
Coaching for parents, caregivers, and homeschool families who want to move beyond survival mode and into relationships that feel alive, reciprocal, and rooted.
How Jenn works
“All flourishing is mutual.” –Robin Wall Kimmerer
We’ve inherited a model for relating to children that feels transactional, when we really long for relationships that feel symbiotic. The forests, tidal flats, and changing seasons have something to teach us about what thriving actually looks like: slow down, pay attention, trust the process.
Jenn brings that same intelligence to family and community life. By sharing tools for mindfulness, shared empathy, conflict resolution, active listening, and play, she helps parents and caregivers build relationships with children that are genuinely joyful. Not managed, not performed. Real.
Homeschool Support
If you’re homeschooling , or seriously considering it, Jenn offers planning and coaching that centers each child’s rhythms, interests, and emotional needs, while keeping the whole family in view. Whether you’re just starting out, recalibrating midyear, or preparing a portfolio, she meets you where you are.
Her approach draws on self-directed, strength-based, and interest-led learning — honoring curiosity as the engine, and the relationship between parent and child as the foundation.

About Jenn
Jenn has been working with children since her early teens. She’s been a nanny, a teacher, a direct support professional for teens navigating mental health challenges, a homeschool co-op instructor, and most recently co-founder and director of youth programs at Through The Trees, a Maine nonprofit rooted in nature connection.
When her own children came along, she chose to homeschool them. That decision changed everything; not just how she thought about learning, but how she thought about relationships, growth, what it means to really show up for a child – and for yourself. For Jenn, parenthood has been a practice as much as a role.
Her coaching draws on Marshall Rosenberg’s framework for Nonviolent Communication, embodied mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic movement. And on something harder to name: the kind of reflective presence that nature teaches, if you slow down long enough to listen.
